Young, Wild, & Free
Heck yeah, no school! Loving break, sleeping in, no school, no homework, no nothing! Christmas is in 5 days! I can't wait, even though it doesn't feel like Christmas at all! Saturday was the JingleBash and that was so fun! Collin & I had so much fun dancing it up, Brian just took a lot of pictures, haha. LMFAO did a great performance! Then yesterday I had Ale & Collin come over and help move boxes and we got payed $30 each. But we mainly hung out in my room. We put a mini trampoline in the middle of my room & bounced around and had loads of fun. Surprisingly, my cat, Gizzy, who likes no one but me, ended up falling in love with Collin. It was cute. So far this break has been pretty good, tops the past years, that's for sure!

It's Beginning to Look alot like Christmas...NOT!
Sad right?! Where's the snow? Today I walked out my front door in my winter jacket and ended up taking it off because the weather was too nice for that heavy of a jacket. It's Wednesday, only two days left til break. It doesn't feel like the last week til break at all. Maybe the main reason is because there's no snow, it still feels like November. Oh and just 2 days til the JingleBash as well. They added another artist to the lineup, Sammy Adams. He's looks like a stoned Jesse McCartney but his music is a mixture of Mike Posner and Mac Miller. I can't wait. Once the JingleBash is over I'm spending the rest of my break sleeping and making hot chocolate, that is if it gets cold enough.

A Place to Call Home.
So over the month of August I moved from my lovely home of 8 years in St.John to Schererville. At my old house I lived by all my friends and knew the neighborhood like the back of my hand. Since late August I've had to begin adjusting to the new streets, faces, and houses. I moved into Grimmer territory. Everyone who rides my bus went to Grimmer, and thankfully they were all amazingly accepting of me, the new girl, the Clark girl. I've made so many new friends thanks to the bus, of course they're mainly guys, but it's nice to know someone's got your back. I've been living on Miami road for five months now, and finally I have that feeling of comfort back. My room is my safe-haven. Of course I miss my old room without a doubt, but I know I can never go back there again so I'm happy to have finally started to feel like this house is now home and not just shelter.
Just 8 more days til Winter Break !!!:) & then the JingleBash!

Music = Love
Music. Oh my god, I know I'm not the only one obsessed with music. I listen to it 24-7. School is pretty much the only time I don't have a headphone in. From LMFAO to Hollywood Undead, I love it all. But most importantly, I love how inspiring and expressing music is. When all else fails, pop in your headphones and melt the day away. The best part of music and what makes up music, lyrics. I swear, I could write my life story using just lyrics from my favorite songs.
"Yes, you're right. Music is great. It stimulates the mind and can lead you to success." -Mr.Decker
That quote from my favorite teacher ever stuck with me. It's so true, music puts you in a variety of moods. Before a party I listen to some Big Sean and Lil Wayne. As I'm working out I listen to Lose Yourself - Eminem. When I'm ready to punch a wall I play some Disturbed.
Music makes me wanna dance, punch a wall, cry, smile & play memories over in my head. When my friends are out of reach & my family just can't find the words to say, music is always there. It's your portable 24-7 best friend. Music will always be there.

Coughing & Workouts
So darling cold weather is now back in full force. Walking in the cold and brutal wind has finally made me victim. Throat kills, and voice is lingering. Of course the week I start my exercise plan and diet, I get sick and am now resorting to minimum omni use. Omni is, for those of you who don't know, an amazing gym/fitness center. Well this is thanksgiving week, so I hope I start to feel better so I can shop at midnight for black friday!
Just 27 more days til the JingleBash!! I'm so excited. I can't wait to watch LMFAO perform & dance to it with the coolest guy friends a girl could ask for. Last week was amazing! I stayed the night at my friend, Ale's house for the whole school week, god did I miss falling asleep on the couch watching Family Guy or Gabriel Igelsis Standup Revolution with her. Her and I decided that sophmore year we will tryout for LC's color guard. I'm excited to see where that'll take me. I'll probably only do it one year though.

Oh, White Days..you suck.
It's freaking freezing in Journalism! I'll make a note to start bringing my winter coat and gloves. White days are filled with the classes I hate the most. Lunch is just boring since there aren't many freshman so I only got my three friends to accompany me. Speaking of friends, how do you like break off a friendship? When that one friend you talk to in third hour wants to be your best friend. Well honestly, not to be rude, I already have two great best friends and they fill up all my time, I can't make room mentally for another best friend. I'm sorry I don't want to sleepover at your house every Friday night. I'm ecstatic to get my bestfriend, Ale back. She's in marching band and has practice every night, but this is her last week. Once she's out of band, it's guranteed that I will be hanging out with her 24-7. Already have plans to sleepover all next week. She's been my best friend since the first day of eighth grade, and things haven't changed a bit since then, and honestly I don't want them to change. I got Ale, my girl best friend. I got Collin, my guy best friend. Them two are crazy enough to handle.
Oh and what's up with people that can't take a hint? I try and be as nice as possible to the annoying girls. It just sucks that one of them is a friend that has stayed with me from summer gym and into the school year. She's always been a bit on the loud, crazy side, but I knew that was just her personality. Now, it irritates me beyond belief & in the mornings when I just wanna lay my head down and pop in my earphones, all she wants to do is talk! I don't wanna be rude and just ignore her, ah, I got to find a way. I'm Taylor Mack, I always find a way.

October.
Oh how the month of October always amazes me. Out of all the months that make up 365 days I'm sure you could find a much more suitable month, with better weather and better opportunities. October has unpreditcable weather, one week could be in the 80's and the next in the 30's. Yet even though October isn't ideal, somehow I have the best memories during those 31 days. The football season is always just ending within the first week or so and there's always that one last game that tops all the rest rather they win or lose. My friends and I always hang out as much as we can before the weather gets too bitterly cold. So, I'm always out with the guys, walking around and hanging out. Majority of my friends are in band and always at practice so I've become that one girl that hangs out with all the guys since they're done with football. I've come to a conclusion, guys are nuts. I love them, but they're crazy. Being the only girl in a group of 3+ guys can be fun at first, but after awhile, they could be so nasty, I swear they have no shame.
Last October was great, I was a happy eighth grader at Clark surronded by familiar faces. Now I'm a surviving freshman at LC surronded by new people. I've made tons of new friends yet somehow October this year was pure amazing because I was with all my Clark people. It's great going back to your old 'norm'. Those people that make my life exciting may leave my side, but never my memories.
Today's Halloween. Did anyone notice? It felt like an average Monday, except for recieving cupcakes in 7th hour. I hate that as we're growing up we're losing touch with all those things that would make the little kid in ourselves scream in excitment. Too old to trick-or-treat? Psh, please. Free candy, we're still young! That's the problem, I don't think anyone has stopped and lived a little because what they want to do isn't 'socially acceptable'. If you want to trick-or-treat then go! Don't let some jock in 3rd period call you lame for it, you're the one having fun.
Now raise your glass, it's October 31st, Happy Halloween.

Boys and Roller Coasters (Narrative)
My phone vibrated, I looked down to find a lit up screen that read one new message. In a yellow box it read, "Hey want to go to six flags tomorrow?" from Collin. Excitment filled my body as I quickly typed back, 'yes!'
Call me lame, but I've never been to Six Flags in my life, until this weekend. Brian Sweeny and Austin Polak went as well. As much as I was looking forward to sleeping in on Saturday I had to rise and shine at eight in the morning. But I knew it was going to be an amazing day. I got to Collin's and all of us piled into his car and started off on our two hour car ride. Austin and I fell asleep but once we got there we were wide awake. Not only was it my first time at Six Flags it was also my first time being on a roller coaster since I was 7. So of course they dragged me on the Superman ride first. I was terrified, but I knew it would be worth the fear. The line wait was about an hour, and let me tell you, bees really like me. While we were waiting in a line this one pesky bee wouldn't leave me alone. Eventually we got on the ride. I kept my eyes closed for most of it, but it was so fun! Around four all the actors dressed up as extremely creepy monsters started walking around the park since it was Fright Fest. We went in a haunted house called the Medical Center. Not worth your money! But being a girl, I was scared! Thank god I was with all these guys. Wink. So it was worth it for me. We watched some shows, went on some kiddie no-line rides, got some food, chilled. Finally got on another ride, The American Eagle. Best ride ever! Then we went through Necropolis which is a free haunted walk through. It was kind of scary but I had gone through it enough to be desensitized. Oh, and how can I forget? We went on this teacup ride, you go really fast and there's strobe lights it's really fun until it's over and your so dizzy you feel like you're going to see that funnel cake you ate an hour ago. But then we went to go see if Gotham's line had gotten any shorter and we had to pass through the Clowns. I am deathly afraid of clowns. I was freaking out but knew I had to act cool so they wouldn't see my fear. But then I looked down and at my feet was some clown creep crawling on the ground. I jumped! All the guys were laughing. We were at the park from open til close. So it's safe to say I fell asleep on the ride home. It was an amazing first six flags experience and I hope to go with all them again!

I Never Really Did Lose Them
Since the high school year started I was worried about losing my close friends. Our schedules didn't match up and since I recently moved from St.John to Schereville I now don't ride the bus with all them. Yes, I was one of those crazy Clark kids. I was worried that I would lose the two biggest influences in my life. Somehow I thought my friendships with them would suddenly fall like it was never there. But I just recently realized, they care just as much as I. Sure, we talk about our new friends, but who do our new friends hear us talk about? The old ones. I'm glad that this whole transition, which by now I'm use to, hasn't torn my friendships to dust. Since the move I feel like my only ties to back home are my friends. Seeing them in the halls always adds a spark to my day. Hopefully one of these years I will get a class or lunch with them. Believe it or not, I love school, I must be that one in a million. It's already mid-October, freshman year is flying by. High School really isn't as bad as TV and movies make it. I'm no longer intimidated by the next 3 years.
Wanna Play a Game?
So it's Wednesday afternoon. This week is going by quickly. Today has been interesting. Lunch was a big game of hide and seek. Yuni, Kelly, and Quinn would understand. We took refuge in the bathroom. Whew, it's freezing in this room! Chill out on the A.C. ha, get it? Cheesy, yeah I know. Can't wait for algebra next hour, I absolutely love that class. Tomorrow is a blue day, and I'm ecstatic! Not much is new in-or-out of school. Get to hang out and see family, which I haven't seen in forever. Once I get home from school I'm either sleeping or hanging with friends. So I guess it's about time I get around to seeing the family. The jacuzzi is finally up and running! This morning I woke up around five so I could just relax and wake up before the hectic white day started. Now the day has almost concluded and the only thing that's running through my mind is sleep.

It's an Average Monday
So it's Monday afternoon. So far so boring. But it's safe to say this week is going to be amazing. My bonfire is Friday and getting the jingle bash tickets! I'm stoked. Who even says that word, 'stoked' anymore though. Well, for a white day, today's going pretty good. Ugh, three white days this week, oh well, I can survive. At least next week has three glorious blue days. Just checked RDS, grades are doing great! Well compared to last years anyways.
Maybe it's not just an average Monday, but a slow start to an amazing week. Fingers crossed!
